Perhaps they can erect a temporary mast, after all, 3 months without signal is going to get some backs up irrespective of their being a protected species. Personally, although not obviously affected, we shouild do all we can to preserve our native wildlife.

Problem is they try and do that and come up against the NIMBYs.
