Evening guys,

So, for the first time in ages I've had a fake iTunes purchase email...!

You know the ones, that say we've debited such and such amount from your account, click this lovely link to cancel if it's not u that created the transaction.

Thing is I've forgotten what I used to do with these emails. I know I forwarded them on to somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't remember where (it's a complete brain blockage atm).

So could u awesome o2ers share where u send yours onto please?

And don't worry, I didn't click on anything!

Cheers,

Charlie xx

If you use gmail you can use the report spam button on the toolbar.

I've managed to find the email for phishing attempts (that's what it is, right?) at Apple, so I've forwarded it to them and deleted it. It was sent from a Gmail in Australia lol, I'm not one to be tricked that easily. But, u can see how some ppl might panic and follow the link to cancel "the purchase"

Anyhow, all sorted. Thanks everyone who replied.

You could always make Apple aware, so they can throw some weight behind closing off the fake e-mails. Just a thought.
