Explosion in Manhattan bus terminal

New York City Police say a man is being held after an explosion at a bus station in Manhattan.

The blast happened on Monday morning at the Port Authority Bus Terminal near Times Square. No-one other than the suspect had been hurt, officials say.

Thankfully no one killed. Four injured, none apparently seriously, including the bomber who has been arrested.

Attempted terrorism according to the mayor. Thank God it wasn't worse.

Yes it could have been much worse. A pipe bomb or so I believe...

Having said that ^^^^ they have released footage of the bomb going off. Poor attempt. It went off whilst attached to the terrorist. It didn't kill him but must have caused him agony. Good...
