Hey guys,

I hadn't realised that the Eurovision was just around the corner! Happy Dance

The 64th Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the Expo Tel Aviv (International Convention Center), with the first semi-final tomorrow, followed by the second semi-final on Thursday and the grand final on Saturday

Are you looking forward to it? Do you have any fun yearly tradition around the show? What are your favourite performances and highlights from the previous years?

I used to stay up and watch it with some friends, but in recent years I have followed the highlights from various articles and social media posts instead. If some of you watch the show live this year, I'll definitely follow it through your comments wink

I doubt it will be Theresa May. She has said she will resign in June or July. So it will probably be another idiot. Please god it's NOT Boris Johnsonclown

An idiot and, allegedly, a liar to boot.

They've been pushing and jostling things along from the get-go, I think, @jonsieThoughful

So just to conclude this thread. The UK came last with just 16 points. Pathetic. (As was our entry)

The Netherlands won

The sooner we drop out of this farce of a competition the better!

How is it that our European neighbours have always been influenced by British music, and yet we seem to have forgotten how to write a decent song? thinking

Perhaps we should rerun that vote?  wink
