I read this today, something that happenedat weekend and worthy of a thread I think

Great News!!
I also read that a trophy hunter who was shooting lions in a 'canned hunt' was shot and killed by a stray bullet. Good.
Sad to read elsewhere, that the UK is among the top 10 countries to be involved in this disgusting Trophy hunting sport, which is decimating our Big cats, Rhino, Elephants and even Giraffes.

The spoilt rich who can't lead a 'normal' life but feel the need to decimate these magnificent beasts. They need a good smack across the head with a sledge hammer!

I watched a programme just recently called Big Cats in The House. It's a massive park in Hertfordshire run by a guy who rescues big cats and orphaned cubs. He raises many of the cubs in his house with all of the family helping.
It's a massive conservation programme.
He took a trip to India and was horrified to see all the tiger skins for sale. It made me sick to think people are so stupid that they will kill these beautiful animals for a 'fast buck'.
Even worse are those who kill Elephants and Rhino for their horns. Under the false impression that they are medicinal. They are NOT. The horns are solely keratin, like finger or toenails.
If something isn't done about this wholesale slaughter, in less than 20 years the only place we will be able to see these beautiful endangered species... is in zoos or conservation parks.
