At present the EE is only on 1800mhz so will have no indoor benifit over 3g 2100mhz

I see this all as hype until we see 4g on 800mhz for all networks the indoor benifit will not be seen. in fact 3g900mhz o2 use will be better indoors  just slower than 4g 1800mhz.

Just my take on this.

iPhone 11 Pro 256gb on unlimited data
iPad Pro 12.9” 2020 256gb refresh o2 family discount
Apple Watch series 4
My first mobile was in 1995 a CM-R111 from sony on Cellnet.
Wincanton South Somerset (Full 4g 3G 2g indoor coverage) Remember we are all customers here not customer services

The thing is, will O2 get off their backside and roll out 3G900 quickly - my guess is no. Trying to get 3G when touring this summer has been a nightmare and yet EE seem to have managed to get to places that are only a dream for O2 users.

3G900 indoors? I wish. We have it but are too far from a usable mast. (Liverpool suburbs) My only hope is they start to use the local Vodafone mast soon.

Of course, there would be very little loading on the test. Not "real world" as yet

They were doing a similar test via some sort of tablets on the ITV lunchtime news. Wasn't convinced of the demo being a speed test type of thing and they were in some hillside in Cumbria by the mast which was probably the next unconvincing factor!

I can imagine the posts already filling up the forum by the one-time posters....talking of which, shouldn't we have a FAQ entry of "When is o2 doing LTE"?
