EASTER BREAKFAST ~ as it used to be

Easter Day Breakfast ~ as it used to be
Up early for a colourful breakfast of Painted egg all ready to go
into the pot for boiling after all the excitement of painting them the day before

Ready for little bread Soldiers

Then the best part : Sometimes Hunt the Easter Chocolate egg or
it would be on the Breakfast Table tempting indeed

There would be Daffodils on the Table and a White table cloth.

Then everyone ~ a Spring Walk in the Park

Keeping things simple
Seems the happiest of times

How lovely @TallTrees that brings back so many memories. Always had a painted boiled egg when i was younger. However, as I got older Mum would buy the chocolate egg and do a Full English Sunday Breakfast. Then I went into the Nursing cadet scheme when I was 16. Mum made sure she was up, as I started work at 7am. She would cook me an egg and bacon sandwich wrapped in foil for my breakfast. The Chocolate egg would be on the sideboard.

Easter Egg hunt earlier, the one day in the year when chocolate is allowed before 12 noon 👍

Breakfast was a boiled egg with soldiers for the rest of us 🐣🐣
