Doctor Who to regenerate for the 11th time

This week saw the speculation that Matt Smith will depart the tardis in this years christmas special. Is it a pr stunt to promote next weeks return of the doctor to tv screens & to hype up audiences to ready them for the 50th anniversary.

Or is it true, if so who would you like to see as the 12th doctor or a big question, would you want a female doctor who

my preferences would be a a mixed race doctor to provide a cultural difference or a female doctor:smileywink:

But aren't cybermen rebuilt humans? There was an episode... I think it was with Rose... But not sure if it was Tennant or Eccleston... Where Rose should be rebuilt too?

Saturday will come the Doctor's name - episode. Thought that would come later...

They are rebuilt humane. Your thinking of the parallel universe story where Rose's mother gets changed into a cybermen, there is a bit of controversy about the next episode. People that have preordered the series seven box set have accidentally been sent their copies early so they know what happens in the name of the doctor, the media have asked people who received the DVDs early not to divulge what happens in the episode before Saturday so it doesn't ruin or spoil it for people

To be honest I've not watched much of the current series, I just can't take to Matt Smith as the Doctor, come back David Tennant all is forgiven IMO.

@IT was tennant. @richardallen, i agree slightly, matt smith is brilliant as the doctor but series 7 has not impressed me at all, so far i have only liked the dalek episode & the crimson horror

And I liked season 7 more again, because Amy & Rory were finally thrown out. I like Clara very much.
