Just a reminder to any and all interested. Dancing On Ice starts tomorrow on ITV at 18:00.

Personally am really looking forward to it, particularly as Torville and Dean are now on the judging panel.

Not bad from Max but I just realised why he hasn't sparkled before - he needed some acting lessons in expressive gestures to give that performance edge over Jake.

Overall, good routines compared to the rest of the series so ITV bosses, take note: don't leave the routines to the pro partners!

I thought Max was pretty damn good actually. Certainly on a par with Jake and much better lifts.

Obviously from the judges comments you can see who they want to win....(Jake)

...I see DoI has borrowed the Strictly dodgy camera work by giving us an overhead view of the headbanger thus missing the impact.

Very good display, if that doesn't win it for him....

@sheepdog you've nailed it. Chris and Jane are far better at choreographing routines. What were the producers thinking apart from saving money, of course.

And yes @Cleoriff the judges clearly want Jake to win. So do I but Max is very good too. Which is why I said Jake and Max in the Final. If Brooke makes it there's no justice.

Such a shame we wont see all three versions of the Bolero..
