The new series of Dancing On Ice officially starts in January 2020, although there will be a Christmas Special in 2019.
Last year a few people posted on the thread including @Glory1 so we will see how we go this year.
The main news is Jason Gardiner has left the show and John Barrowman will replace him. So no more nasty comments (shame)
The contestants are....
Maura Higgins (from Love Island)
Michael Barrymore.
Joe Swash (ex Eastenders now TV Presenter)
H From Steps. He will make history as the first contestant to dance with a same sex partner.
(Not sure how that will work but let's wait and see)....
Perri Kiely (Dancer from Diversity) Let's see how Ashley Banjo marks him!!)
Lisa George (Who plays Beth Tinker in Coronation Street)
Libby Clegg (Registered Blind Paralympian)
Trisha Goddard (Talk show host/TV Presenter)
Lucrezia Millarini (ITV news presenter)
Kevin Kilbane (Former Footballer and TV Pundit)
Ben Hanlin. Magician (best known for TV show Tricked)

It will be presented as usual by Phil and Holly.

I also think ITV are running scared of what might come out about this Caprice business. There seems to have been a complete shutdown of DOI discussions.
Every Monday morning without fail, there is a segment on This Morning about DOI.
Last Monday, nothing.
She has said once she is voted out she will tell all.
I feel sorry for Hamish, the skating pro she was first partnered with. He is a brilliant bloke and to have accusations of bullying levelled at him is horrific.

Very sad when someone makes these sort of allegations. If they are untrue he should think about taking legal action for slander.

The tabloids (The Sun and The Mirror) are reporting that Caprice has left DOI. Apparently did not turn up for rehearsals yesterday. Coincidentally the day after Hamish released his statement on Instagram. ITV have refused to comment. (Nothing new there then!!)
I suppose it's a wait and see scenario tonight.

Caprice danced with Hamish for one week, then refused to skate with him again stating he was bullying and gaslighting her (Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which a person seeks to sow seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or in members of a targeted group, making them question their own memory, perception, and sanity).
Hamish has skated on the show before with numerous partners and never had one complaint.
So she missed a week skating and then brought in her own professional skater who was not part of the DOI team.
She skated last week and was NOT well received by the audience. She ended up in the bottom two but was saved in the skate off.
I only know Caprice from other reality shows she has been in and basically she is a nightmare. Lazy, idle and thinks she is entitled @Anonymous
