The new series of Dancing On Ice officially starts in January 2020, although there will be a Christmas Special in 2019.

Last year a few people posted on the thread including @Glory1 so we will see how we go this year.

The main news is Jason Gardiner has left the show and John Barrowman will replace him. So no more nasty comments (shame)

I agree @Mi-Amigo . Joe's showdance was a masterpiece. I loved it and it played to his strengths.

With regards to Perri's Bolero, the most stunning part for me was just before the end when they 'supposedly' throw themselves into the inferno. Both him and Vanessa leaning forward on the tip of their skates (like the Michael Jackson move in Smooth Criminal)

I played it twice again today to watch.

Just a clip here...not the full dance.

It was only an excerpt @Anonymous or highlights. It did show the part I was taken with, ie them leaning forward together...very very difficult move. Yes it was stunning.

On the DOI app DURING the show and after Libby was eliminated,  they posted a survey asking who everyone wanted to win. Nearly 8000 people responded

Yes, @Cleoriff something methinks stinks a bit

I really like that beautiful lift they did

I particularly watched for the part you mentioned above ... they were perfectly in sync with each other ... thank you as would not have noticed that

Sooo unfair for them, when Chris mentioned Vanessa's choreography = she became a bit teary eyed

Will miss DOI until next year.

Thanks for that @Cleoriff

Very strange... a huge swing from 37.6% to 50% of the votes for Joe to be the winner...

Conspiracy? Fixed? Judges multi-voting under the desks? ITV "losing" viewers votes? Don't know

I have no idea @Mi-Amigo

That isn't my phone, it was taken from the DOI forum and someone who has the DOI app like me. . If you look at the time she posted ...it was just before the results were announced. Now I know there may have been a time lapse from her capturing that from the app to when she posted, although it was definitely after Libby was eliminated.

But there is a hell of a difference from Joe on 37.6% and Perri on 62.4%

All I know is, Joe is heavily linked with ITV since he left Eastenders. He won I'm a celebrity get me out of here. He then presented I'm a Celeb extra Camp. His partner Stacey Solomon, is a regular on Loose Women. There is quite a clique really.

I agree withy you all. The final was really the only part of the series I watched and it was obvious even to my untrained eye who the best couple were.
