The voices of many have been heard in Italy singing from the balconies

Bono has recorded a song dedicated to the Italians in lockdown

Please share any songs which inspire you in these terrible times

Some people see things as they are and ask "Why?"; I dream of things that never were and ask "Why not?"

Thank you for this thread @Mi-Amigo

@Bambino thank you for your thought of The Moody Blues live vid of Nights In White Satin

My go-to music is Blue Guitar by Justin Hayward

Forever Autumn by Justin Hayward = his forever lilting voice and my favourite season because of the colours in the landscape

The music and vocals of Donnie Munro of Runrig is comforting to me, even in Gaelic, such tunefulness / crystal clear enunciation ... thank you @pgn for introducing me to Donnie Munro of Runrig initially on the What Are You Listening To thread.

As soon as I heard it I thought the melody sounded a lot like 'Nights In White Satin' by the Moody Blues

Doesn't it just, @Bambino: "letters I've written, never meaning to send..." and so on.

*Music is International*

@pgn There were some follow up vids of Donnie Munro as frontman of Runrig ... then link to his farewell concert in Sterling 1997 ... I was encaptured by him and, band and the crowd ... my current fave is 'Going Home' = I can join in the chorus on this - I sing a very low alto when focussed ... Donnie's farewell ended with him saying Runring will go on, you (the crowd) will support them ... then the vid / dvd cut out ... I don't know what the final song was ... Do you know @pgn ?

Not sure - but this might have been the playlist they were using, @Anonymous:

The last 2 tracks (of the 3-track encore!) might be these:

Hearts of Olden Glory

Precious Years

I found this lovely 'coronavirus song' Written and performed (amazingly) by German heavy rock band the Scorpions who were formed in 1964.

The lead singer, Klaus Meine, is 72years old.

The song is called A Sign Of Hope
