Coronavirus in the UK

The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.

The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.

The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

It is interesting and covers my thought that it's better to get the 2nd dose as at present prescribed. To put a spanner in the works...so to speak...I was listening to another view that it could be better !
All these.... could be may be ....
No one has tested it thoroughly yet.

The UK variant has mutated again. 11 cases who have not travelled abroad. (not entirely unexpected though as viruses do mutate constantly)

Whilst I'm a strong advocate for trying to keep some kind of semblance of normality, i.e. allowing people to go to work if they can't WFH etc.
It is completely beyond me as to why so many thousands of people feel it is necessary to jet all around the world at this time, and indeed why governments are allowing it.

Rather agree with both of those statements.
Did see a clip of a laughable interview someone was doing with an "influencer" the other day.
Saying "its my job to keep people's spirits up" by s*dding off to Dubai/Mexico/another holiday destination and calling it work doesn't keep my spirits up!
I think the noose on what is actually a business trip needs to be significantly tighter than it is currently!!
