The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.
The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.
The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

Here people are demonstrating against masks. Aswell as comparing the newly released infection-law to a law back from Hitler's time. So no wondering about the stupidity of people - sadly
You are right, @ComaChameleon! I think there is a set of puppet masters somewhere who are doing this... And they are using the tactics that brought Hitler to power, yes - the more we learn, the worse we get, seriously - the pic here sums it up, sadly.
Disgraceful behaviour in the UK corridors of "power", alas.

Is the problem really the staff being complacent or not getting the ppe from the employer?
We had the same problem here, my old employer only gave us masks, even ffp2 was recommended.
I had a chat with one of our doctors, she (was working for health office for some years now) didn't even know there is already 4 MRGN now, she only knew 3 MRGN from back then.
We are happy not. having someone with MRSA/3or4 MRGN now... It's so common... 😕
@ComaChameleon No it's not down to hospital staff and the correct PPE. We messed that up after the first outbreak but now and since summer, ALL hospitals (or so I've read and heard) have the correct PPE.

And while we are bemoaning the inaction over Covid-19, take a moment to help those who are trying to get the Government to listen to them:

@CleoriffThey have the correct PPE, yet hospitals and care homes are still where the vast majority of infections are occurring. People are going into hospital for other treatments and contracting it WHILE IN THERE. Yet it is retail, leisure and hospitality businesses that are being shut down and people losing their livelihoods. Why is nobody questioning this?
The test being used itself is also far too sensitive. The person who developed the test being used has even said it is not designed for the sort of mass testing we are now seeing. It picks up even the smallest traces of the virus, even dead virus cells, and reports positive.
Carl Henegan, Director Of Evidence Based Medicine at Oxford, and an epidemiology expert, talks about "virus load" a lot, and has stated many times now that the amount of virus in someone can indicate whether they are infectious or not. Yet they are not distinguishing between low and high levels of infection, they are simply reporting everything as a positive case, which is giving an incorrect picture.
Just look up articles he's been interviewed on. He talks so much logical sense, instead of the panicked and clearly ulterior motive driven drivel coming from the likes of Whitty, Vallance and Van Tam

I know people are going into hospital Covid free and getting the virus whilst in there. In fact I have posted about just that earlier on the thread (or elsewhere) Some, not all, hospital acquired infections point to poor infection control measures.
I know, I have been there, done that and sadly got the T shirt. Not with Cov19, thank god but other nosocomial (hospital acquired) infections.
Having said that, and certainly not playing the blame game, the hospital staff are tired to death, overwhelmed and working flat out. This is when standards slip occasionally. I certainly couldn't do what they are doing and am pleased I'm retired.
