The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.
The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.
The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

With these stupid new 10pm curfew rules on pubs & restaurants not based on true science, we are going to see the unnecessary death of many more businesses. This is now an absolute scandal of modern times worse than anything that's come before it in my opinion.
Young people on the whole, and basically anyone who is just trying to enjoy themselves is being blamed for the so called spike and rise in "cases" saying people are not following the rules. I actually think people have been very compliant to these stupid rules on the whole and have certainly been very patient with the government up to now. But now the evidence for all to see is suggesting this is no worse than a bad flu season and that most people are not in any danger, people are seeing through it and trying to get on with thier lives. The fact that infections in pubs, bars and restaurants only account for 5% of the infections being reported, suggests the government are simply trying to pass the blame once again instead of admitting to their own failures. Care homes are still accounting for 45% of all cases suggesting the government is doing next to nothing about this. Blaming the young, who are hardly affected by covid is just wrong.
People's lives and businesses are being ruined for something which does not affect over 99% of the population.
Oh, and today I read this. Absolutely disgraceful: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8779373/Parliaments-bars-NOT-subject-10pm-curfew.html
I went to my local members club the other night, and it was sorry state to see the steward run off her feet having to go round the tables taking people's orders, going to the bar to get them and then takign them to the table. This despite only about 10 people in there. It is just too much hassle to go out now and is not a nice experience. This needing to wear a mask to go to the toilet despite you not passing anyone on the way because everyone is sat down. It's just ridiculous.
Masks make no difference at all. In fact the rise in "cases" coincided with the introduction of the stupid mask rule.
Have a read of this. Very eye opening:

Oh dear @pgn
By the way, I watched 3 news bulletins today. Both showed neither the Prime Minister nor one of his senior advisors know what they are talking about!!
Apparently BJ, misspoke!!

Joy of joys, the WAG is now putting 3/4's of Wales under lockdown as of Thursday. Quote:
"Mr Gething said: "Large parts of Wales will now be subject to local restrictions but I want to be clear - this is not a national lockdown."
Ok, so over 3.1 million people in Wales and 2.5 million are locked down? Exactly by what definition is this not really a national lockdown? Fortunately I'm in one of the two North Wales regions that aren't for now but if someone sneezes outside Tesco on Friday night, guaranteed the lockdown comes into effect first thing monday.
Anyway, looking at the stats for Wales, take a look at the graph for the 5 year average and this year's death rates. I'd conclude these extra lockdowns aren't going to have any impact anyway in reducing deaths from Covid.

In case you missed it, something that I applaud Nicola Sturgeon for in asking for the resignation of her own SNP MP:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-54386872
Yet as democracy prevails, the consituents have to gather enough signatures to force a by-election which should be interesting to see if the SNP put up a candidate or revoke her suspension making themselves arch hypocrites in the latter case. Interesting viewpoint at 31 seconds here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-scotland-54392446 from a voter. Take your pick: are you willing to overlook it or hold your MP to account even if the consequences are not what you want?
I suspect that it will fade into the background as after all, losing a seat in Westminster is a worse scenario for the SNP and nobody wants a by-election right now.
