The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-51325192

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.

The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.

The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

My hairdressers this morning was very 'on the ball' re Covid19 regulations and social distancing. Two parts to the shop helped

Sanitiser on arrival and throughout the shop, limited clientele, everyone had to complete a form etc etc etc.

They have set up an online booking service and refuse most people who just drop in.

All staff wear full face plastic PPE masks, aprons and gloves. Gowns for clients have been replaced with plastic biodegradable ones.

As you leave, the chair you have sat in is sanitised. No handling of cash etc.

#1 son slept in and missed his appt today. So he stole my Sat appt, so I have another two weeks of shagginess to endure until they have a slot for me on 25th Jul.
By then we'll be locked down again probably, so no cut again... ✂️😭

I tell you, it'll be a weight off my shoulders come 25th July! Now if inly I could shed extra weight from other parts of me as easily... My step-counter has lost its 4th digit every day for about 16weeks now. 🅾️9️⃣4️⃣6️⃣

And so the local Public Health Agancy over in this remote part of the kingdom has released the phone number, and details on how many times they will try to call you from that number, if you test positive for Covid-19 - very useful, well done!

Put the number below in your phone contacts if you live in Northern Ireland.

At least people will know the call is genuine and not one of the scams going round. Well done N.I.

And the mask thing? Nope, you can wear one all day long, you won't feel light-headed, woozy, or short of breath. Kudos to the surgeon who recorded this, just to set the record straight!

I'm going to guess that

a) he's done that in an environment that regulates and filters the air temperature

b) not done it in outdoor temperatures where the temperature variates

c) not carrying a bag of shopping or a couple of kids nor layers of clothing

But I'd like to see the results of him dragging that machine around for a couple of days to actually get a realistic picture of oxygen levels throughout the day in his use case with and without a mask.
