The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.
The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.
The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

With the UK trying to get things going again, a story from Israel and another from S. Korea, where a rise in cases has been observed after schools were reopened.
Should we be focusing on reopening the schools here, or improving testing, track and trace systems (now delayed in UK until end-June)?
Current track and trace in all 4 parts of the UK:
Doc: Your COVID-19 test result is positive. Before you return home to isolate for 14 days, just jot down the names of all the people you've had contact with in the last week, here's a pencil and a blank page of notepaper...
Patient: Errr...!?
(it's like the old STD Clinic procedure... without the embarrassment!)

Isn't the irony that (localised) outbreaks almost identify all those who haven't been socially isolating and not following the rules thus liable to being fined? Or being targeted by the "concerned" which may lead to an increase in attacks of various sorts (primarily name & shame on social media).
Not sure what the right path is with this as someone is going to be moaning about it. All I know so far is that the younger generation are less likely to be affected as it is to the older generation (>65). Given its something like a couple of months to summer break, perhaps its not a bad thing to see where it goes with the schools then pull it if there are spikes since the impact is less educationally wise now. Saying that, wouldn't track n' trace be more suited to this group returning?
Anyway, just seen this info being released about Wales and Critical Care with Corona virus. Annoyingly they've quoted percentages without the reference numbers but still interesting reading. Will see if the other home nations release that info.
On the subject of STD's, those figures will be fascinating reading....seriously though, whilst this thing has taken precendence, a lot of other diseases/illnesses/treatments etc will have changed so the actual impact of the lockdown will be interesting to see what the effect has been on those over the next year.

Is this little news item of import? Sounds like others are dissatisfied with the way the UK Gov't is handling COVID-19 too. Grrr!
