Coronavirus in the UK

The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.

The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.

The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

I am sick to the teeth of all this now.

The convenience of this new so called variant is astounding, as is the "we'll review in 3 weeks". When is that? Just before xmas so they can once again ruin everyone's xmas and new year. How convenient.

Anyone else notice that omicron is anagram of moronic? That's what the governments of this world think of us plebs.

Our government is both useless, and despicable. This so-called variant has been found to give MILD flu-like symptoms. People need to stop panicking, stop believing everything they hear and see from the government and main stream media, and do their own research.

People need to start resisting these continued invasions of our liberties and body autonomy, otherwise this will never end.

The logic behind people's thinking and what the government are saying literally makes no sense.

Let's sum it up.

1. Masks

There is no scientific evidence that masks make any difference at all to the spreading of an airborne virus. Try putting one one of the cloth masks people tend to wear, or even the horrible looking blue face nappies. Now breath normally (if it's a cold day), or to prove the point even more, smoke a cigarette or e-cig (if you smoke that is). The smoke or cold air puff out of the mask and out the sides of the masks. The particles in cold breath or smoke/vape are larger that the microscopic virus particles, yet they still escape the masks.

So tell me, what makes people think masks are doing anything other than a sign of compliance with the state?

If this variant was that deadly and it was that urgent, why wait until Tuesday to bring the masks mandates back? 3-4 days AFTER announcing it? Can't people see they are just messing with us all and making this rubbish up? 

2. Vaccines

Never in the history of vaccines have they been plugged as "take them to protect those around you". There is 0% scientific evidence to back up this complete dribble being pushed by the government and it's so-called experts. Vaccines protect the taker of the vaccine, nobody else.

Also, the vaccines have been found to NOT stop you catching the virus, and NOT to stop you spreading the virus. 

So taking this, does it matter who is vaccinated and who is not? 

The clinically vulnerable are vaccinated.

Those who feel they want/need it are vaccinated.

If the vaccines worked how the government are pushing it ("do your duty to protect others" and all that other tosh), then it really doesn't matter if people who are vaccinated come into contact with those who are not, because those vaccinated are protected.

There is also no investigation or questioning on the side affects of these vaccines, particularly in young people. There have been over 1.2 MILLION adverse reactions reported, and over 1700 deaths reported as a result of these vaccines. People who were perfectly healthy, and perfectly capable of fighting covid naturally. Yet not a single one of these cases is being investigated by the MHRA. It's disgraceful.

Dodgy Boris, his paymasters and all his dodgy cronies have us exactly where they want them and people continue to accept it, despite them consistently lying to the public, constantly changing the stupid rules and consistently breaking promises. When are people going to wake up?

I could go on and on here as I have read a lot of REAL articles on this, not influenced by the government propaganda train. But it makes me feel ill.

You are entitled to your opinion @welshsteve76  but those who have been vaccinated rarely need treatment in ITU which reduces the pressure on the NHS, which with winter on us, this is a good thing surely?

 I certainly agree with the poor government response to this. They are morons without a doubt.

The reporting of deaths is warped. Mainly because many people have underlying conditions and would have died anyway. So their cause of death should never be recorded as due to Covid.

I haven't read any research about people dying due to the vaccination. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, just that I haven't read it. If you have a link to the diagnostics/research and conclusions then I'd be interested to read it.

I'm firmly of the opinion that we have to learn to live with this. It may be a different way of life then so be it.

I write all this from the 'safety' of my two vaccinations and booster jab.

Today I have had my booster jab and flu jab at a town near me ... I believe per se in vaccination, from a long time ago ie polio when I remember being able to choose a Smartie sweet from a bowl, this would be at the village clinic where I grew up.

I am classed as having a chronic illness with my immunity system impaired.

Sooo brassed off with the politics of all this ... want BoJo to show some backbone.

The how to get your booster is not right good ... this has been my experience ... going via the internet I was offered Oxenhope, which is out in the sticks in another county / Colne which is in Lancashire / Burnley which is also in Lancashire ..... nothing offered in Skipton, North Yorkshire, the town where I have lived for almost 30 years ..... no letter in the post ..... I am in my middle to late 60s so am eligible for the booster anyway ..... BUT ..... slack / incompetent system of administration means you literally have to hang on the phone to a medical centre in the hope that you may get some help ..... I was lucky in the sense that my patience paid off - I rang the medical centre I am registered with last Friday about 2pm and waited until I was caller number 1 = took about 20 minutes in all - the pleasant sounding woman on the other end of the phone was most helpful and straightaway understood that I don't drive and would like to go to the medical place I had my 2 previous jabs (AstraZeneca) = she asked if I could go on Monday (today) I said yes and we negotiated a time of 2 minutes to 11 ..... = ..... JOB DONE ... ... ... despite the snow and ice this morning the taxi company I always use was up and running.

Ah yes, had to wear a mask in the medical centre... ferreted around in coat pocket and came up with a cloth one as the blue ones are difficult to use with wearing glasses which mist up and the darn thing does not hold properly behind my ears.

I heard there was going to be masks again for shops/trains etc from Tuesday this week, went shopping today so starting wearing one again. It's no problem really, unless people want to make it one.

Yes, been 'the norm' over here from the get-go, except for the burly builder types getting their breakfast baps or such from the hot food counter in the local butcher's - ne'er a mask in sight. I guess you wouldn't go out shopping without your trousers on, so wearing a mask should not raise an an eyebrow.

From 13th Dec, all entry to pubs, restaurants, indoor venues will require the presentation of a QR code - that action alone drove uptake of first dose vaccines up in NI, exceeding the same total for Scotland and Wales combined in the week that was announced! NI still the worst case figures in the UK though 😬😩

@Cleoriff It has been a while. I'm just so busy with work these days, and mentally drained with all this never ending over blown drama, that I just don't get much time for much else.

Notice the use of the words "You are no longer legally required to wear a face covering in any setting."

These new restrictions are NOT legal. They are guidance, as they have been all along. Any fine dished out for this will be squashed in a court of law as there is no law for it. The government just want to scare us into believing it is law with all their threats.
