The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.
The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.
The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

Totally agree @pgn . I know people have many reasons to say no to vaccination but I would like to see it made law. (with few exceptions) Of course, we would have 1000's queuing up at the Court of Human Rights 🙄
On the subject of Covid, grandson called last night asking for a bed! He had returned from work and luckily popped round to see his Nan en route. Had a phone call from his Mum telling him not to come home as she had tested positive tor Covid!! (She works in a school on the admin side) and tests regularly. Negative yesterday morning, felt unwell in the afternoon tested again= positive.
He is negative and wants to stay that way.....so he is currently here and will return to his flat later on this afternoon. Forgot to ask him what his Mum's vax status is but will check before he leaves. Bit of a shock really.

Just to add, she has had both vaccines. She actually took herself down for a PCR test last night and waiting for results.

Hope she is better soon @Cleoriff!
Daughter had 7 days of tests last week as a class mate tested positive - no symptoms, but him and his Dad had to do tests for a Cubs trip and son came back positive.
7 days of negative results thankfully!

Between Forum sign-in troubles and YouTube changes, this message says it all - NI Deputy First Minister returns to work today after 3 weeks battling the SARS-CoV-2 virus, at home - double vaccine helped 🤞

There are so many breakthroughs...
We (bf, his mum, his sister) all became positive even we all had the jabs (3 x biontech + biontech, 1 x astra + biontech).

Sad to hear that @ComaChameleon. Still as I said before, thank goodness for vaccinations. Could only imagine how much worse it would have been without them.

On Sunday 24th, myself and hubby are off for our booster jabs. Although we had the Astra Zeneca as our first two jabs....now we are having Pfizer for the booster. As I'm probably the first member here to have the booster, I'll let you know how we go on! 👍
