The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-51325192

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.

The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.

The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

A lot more than we are led to believe! Certain provinces in China have reopened and people are walking around without masks or social distancing.

Thank you for your personal message @jonsie

I heard Matt Hancock saying UK shouldn't be affected by this virus about January 2019...obviously not true and grossly misleading.
Thankfully we can think for ourselves.

The vaccines will work...but...again because of our Government's inadequacies and reluctance to spend money they didn't order enough stuff...they have now decided to lengthen the two jab times big mistake. (Similar disastrous scenario with PPE).
Pfizer said 21 days Pfizer means 21 days ...
However with that genius scheme from our leaders we are now in no man's land yet again.
Regrettably more tragedies await.

I see the WHO have been denied entry to Wuhan again. A spike in virus cases is the excuse this time.

I see Boris has been criticised for cycling 7 miles away from home.

Bit stupid now!

Interesting to see a BBC newsreader asking a senior Police commissioner if he considered 7 miles on a bike was classed as 'staying local' (a dig at Boris). His answer was 'it depended where you lived'!!

So if I wanted to take a ride to Coventry from Nuneaton, I'd be ok then?

It really is getting ridiculous.

They need to police the supermarkets I think!

I agree with you @Cleoriff :: at the very time the people need to be encouraged to walk locally etc..the Prime Minister drives 7 miles for a bike ride. He has use of the grounds at Buckingham Palace and all the parks around. The question needs to be asked ...does he have a brain at all🤣 I really worry for him!🤪
The more that this happens the less people will respect the Government's requests. We will all suffer then. Why can't our Government officials take the lead and behave ... show the way ... from what we have experienced they are worse.
