The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-51325192

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.

The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.

The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

So who's going to try teaching their cat about social distancing...?

I detect several cat-based memes coming along 🙀

@pgn

We live in a cul de sac and there are no other cats. My two only go into the back garden. Gizmo used to be a roamer before this crisis, so I have no idea why he suddenly stopped? 6th sense??

By the way a tiger at the Bronx Zoo tested postive for Covid 19

not me!
our two would go mad (and most definitely drive us mad) if they didn't at least have the option to go out.

Not been on most of the day - very funny cat distancing pics!

And yes, our surviving cat loves to be outside, all though she's not as defensive of her patch as her late sister was, @gmarkj.

And I read about the tigers and their keeper, @Cleoriff - some lessons to be learned there, not least of which you get one of these scarce tests if you're a tiger too 😳

As one zookeeper explained, the Covid 19 tests aren't suitable for humans. A different test completely yahoo
