The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-51325192

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.

The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.

The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

Oh yeah.

Apparently 1.5 million letters meant to be going out to the elderly and vulnerable. (As proof that you are for booking online shopping slots etc)

Now having tried on Thursday to find out who and how this info was collated, I can tell you that neither your GP or NHS had anything to do with it!!

I'm more than certain that many many people will be missed off this 'government compiled list'

Not very @ComaChameleon . We have been 'urged' to stay at home and allowed out for an hours exercise, or to the shops for essentials but we haven't got the staff to police it. We are not in total lockdown you see.

People who can't work from home are allowed to go to work if your job is 'essential'.

Having said that, all bars, restaurants, large venue gatherings are cancelled//closed. In our town the Weds and Saturday market is open but only stalls selling meat food and vegetables.

@Cleoriff

Sounds like here. Only we are not allowed groups of 2+ people (one family/household doesnt count) under the open sky. It's 200€ fine (200€ for visiting hospitals/nursing homes aswell).

All non-essential shops are closed - only food is allowed (food only on take away, to be consumed more than 50 metres from the shop).

Are there fines too?

Seems weird as uk has a higher deadtoll as germany. wonder that it's not that strict..

No flap near TNS, so unless you plan on using carrier-pigeon... 😁
