The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-51325192

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.

The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.

The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

Hiya guys,

Once again thought I'd pop in and say hey to friends old, and new.

I hope everyone is keeping well.

We're ok and carrying on as usual, for a long as possible.

Charlie xx

Re the school closure: They will still have a duty of care to look after the children of key workers ie NHS staff, carers, police officers, delivery drivers and those children classed as vulnerable.

Questions remain as to how those children who are entitled to free school meals will be fed.

All exams will be cancelled although more detail is required as to how the kids will be marked in relation to A levels  or GSCE's

Surreal in Tesco today lunch time visit. Labels hanging on empty shelves saying to help customers only two items per person. Hardly any tinned foods left. No cereals. No eggs. No flour. No paper products of any kind. Freezers going empty. Long lengths of clean white shelves.
People sort of aimless walking around wondering what to pick up. Bit like a dream.
