Coronavirus in the UK

The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.

The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.

The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

I'm taking it seriously but I'm not worried about it.

Three years ago I wouldn't have worried about it. Things change and now I am. Time to forget I'm no longer a youngster and also I fit into a different category of those at risk.

It won't stop me enjoying myself as much as I can. It also won't stop be being worried.

I've been using hand sanitiser for a few weeks.. I can't use it all the time as it dries my skin out!

The latest patient diagnosed with the coronavirus in England is the first to catch it in the UK.

He comes from Surrey and had not been abroad.

One of those affected whilst on the cruise ship Diamond Princess has died today. He was 70

Several airlines have grounded aircraft, due to lock downs. Others won't take people who were locked-down in a Spanish hotel, until they have had 14-day quarantine. It really is all getting a bit silly...
