Given that there is a severe lack of major competions this year to highlight any competition, he's a dead cert for SPOTY and an OBE. I really hate the bit about 77 years though as it just says Britain has been utter rubbish for 76 of them

Um, last time I checked, Scotland is still part of the UK.. Eventually it will be seperate, but not for a few years yet IMO.
