After opening the pressies, eating too much Christmas dinner, an afternoon snooze, more food - wearing a Christmas paper hat, it`s down to watching what seasons offerings are on the telly...

My son has just been with the boys so that was nice.

He wanted to take me to hospital but I'm there for tests on Friday and Saturday so I'll wait till then. Never felt this bad though.

Did anyone watch The Limehouse Golem on BBC2?

It was a real gem of a film, for those who like murder, mystery and mayhem in Victorian times. Based loosely on a true story and starring the great Bill Nighy as the detective in charge of finding the Limehouse Golem, it made for excellent viewing with a surreal twist. It features some real life characters such as Dan Leno and Karl Marx, who 'could have been the Golem'

I thoroughly enjoyed it,.

No I didn't see it but it seems I missed a good programme. I'm not a big fan of anything set in Victorian times to be honest.

I missed it @Cleoriff . I enjoy murder/mysteries set in Victorian times and do like films with Bill Nighty, so hope it is repeated very soon.

Edited to say, it IS on BBC2 catch up. It was shown on Friday but I didn't watch it till yesterday.
