EE have announced that there will be no more Orange Wednesday cinema offers after 25th February 2015.

From about 1994 EE (which merged with Orange and Tmobile), have been running an offer whereby their customers could apply for a code to be sent to their mobile in order to get 2 for 1 on cinema tickets.

All is not lost as EE have confirmed that they will be introducing a new offer to its customers following the end of Orange Wednesdays.

Calm down? Calm down?

I was planning to drop o2 when my contract expires and move to EE, with one of the reasons being Orange Wednesday.

Oh well never mind. Let's see what replaces it. But unless o2 really prove their worthiness over the next 6 months I'm afraid I am gone.

Have looked at the online Coverage Checkers for all 4 and whilst EE is good in some areas it is poor where I am moving to. O2 worse than EE currently. Three not great either. Vodafone looking the best at the moment.

But they all have 6 months to prove themselves. The town where I work is big but no 4g from any network is astounding. The home is only 10 miles away. Vodafone do have 4g there but not in town but will be by March.

Is up for grabs. Roll on payg sim cards next June
