Was reading a little about this earlier - very sad news and a shocking situation.

As a regular traveller to Thailand and occasionally to Laos and Vietnam I am aware of the lethal toxic alcohol

I always stick to bottled beer these days

The biggest danger is a beach party where you don't know what you are drinking

My heart goes out to these young tourists who were only out to enjoy theirselves the same as tourists would do in any country

Young people tend to go travelling in their gap year and Asia is a big attraction

All very sad

This methanol is a killer. When the body tries to fight the effects, it converts it to Formaldehyde and Formic Acid. A terribly painful way to die. God bless them ❤️
