Britain`s Got Talent returns to ITV tonight [Sunday 30 August] at 6.30pm with a one-off show - Britain`s Got Talent: The Finalists Revealed, which was pre-recorded [before Simon Cowell`s back injury] and will show the judges reducing 200 acts to 40.
The 40 acts chosen by the judges will join the Golden Buzzer acts:
Sing Along With Us, singing group - David`s Golden Buzzer; Fayth Ifel, 12year old singer - Simon`s Golden Buzzer; Nabil Abdulrashis, comedian; Jon Courtney, comedy singer - Ant & Dec`s Golden Buzzer; and Honey and Sammy, mother and daughter singers - Amanda`s Golden Buzzer
in the semi-finals.
The first of five pre-recorded semi-finals will be screened on ITV next Saturday [5 September], with the judges picking one act to go through to the final, and the public voting for another act once the episode is shown.
The final will be shown live - without Simon Cowell in the hotseat, who will be replaced by Ashley Banjo.

Interesting post on DigitalSpy forum re-Amanda`s decision on vote in second semi-final
"Producers cut of the part where Amanda told The Coven they were the best performance of the night,
so her decision to send Aaron and Jasmine to the final looked justified."

They certainly did not cut it out @Mi-Amigo as I heard her say it!!
Ridiculous call anyway. As you said, doing it to show who was 'boss'
Put it this way, would I go and see Aaron and Jasmine again....NO
Would I go and see The Coven? Hell yes.

Hope you don't mind but I've taken those acts out of a spoiler. It helps me to see them all when writing my reviews
So...
1. Myra Dubois - singer
2. Magical Bones - magician
3. Ember Trio - musicians
4. Sign Along with Us - signing singers Golden Buzzer act
5. Dario the Dinosaur - keyboard player
6. Sirine Jahangir - singer/pianist
7. X1X Crew - dancers
8. Bhim Niroula
I think, yet again, the signing singers won't be live on the night. As a consequence, the message is lost.
Apart from that STUPID Dario the Dinosaur, I am struggling to remember the others.
Have you got a link to Digital Spy @Mi-Amigo ?
They might show pictures.

Couple of errors/additions to my earlier post
Myra Dubois - is a comedian
Sirine Jahangir - is the blind singer/pianist
Bhim Nirouls - is a singer
Looking forward to magician Magical Bones and the musicians Ember Three...

Ofcom will NOT investigate Diversity performance.
From BBC News online today - Thursday 17 Sept 2020
An Ofcom spokeswoman said: "We carefully considered a large number of complaints about this artistic routine, an area where freedom of expression is particularly important.
"Diversity's performance referred to challenging and potentially controversial subjects, and in our view, its central message was a call for social cohesion and unity.
"Any depictions of violence by the performers were highly stylised and symbolic of recent global events, and there was no explicit reference to any particular political organisation - but rather a message that the lives of black people matter," she added.
Diversity star and BGT judge Ashley Banjo responded to the Ofcom decision on Instagram, saying: "Creativity is always a leap of faith.
"All I did what was what felt right and I'd do it 100 times over... Sending love to everyone that stood by us."
Earlier this week Ashley said they had have received "hundreds of thousands" of messages of support, after news of the complaints was made public.
"Trust me. I'm right in the centre of it," said Banjo. "The negativity is the minority...
"We stand by every single decision we made with that performance."
