Boris Johnson has been voted as the new leader of the Conservative party. He won by double the votes  from Jeremy Hunt

Hi @Glory1   Cry

Yes these types never answer or pay the price for the destruction and hurt to people's personal lives that they cause, happening over generations who have to suffer their incompetence and evilness

throughout history ~ Help

Edited to add ~ the only thing difference between us and the US is that

the Conservative Party Chose Boris  NOT the general public/electorate~

which is the system we have here, in this case  we are

forced to accept a nut-bag (not much solace but...)

That is why no one in the Conservative Party wants a General Election

but it will come and heads will roll.

A friend had an interesting take on all this today, which might be worth thinking about. He said Boris wants to be PM more than he wants Brexit. There will be some bluster and bravado, and then he'll offer the country another referendum. Seems a plausible scenario to me. Anything could happen now, I suppose...

If he can’t deliver Brexit, he’ll have the shortest premiership on record. There’s no majority in parliament for either “no deal”, or a second referendum.

It’s hard to imagine a deal being agreed by the end of October, but a further extension isn’t a given, and it only takes one member state to exercise their right to veto, and we’re leaving anyway.

I've had that paper this morning and it says it all. In fact BBC news showed all the front pages of most newspapers today and they all said pretty much the same.

That being so, it does make you wonder what the outcome would have been if the country had been allowed a vote and not just the Conservatives??upside_down
