Hi guys,
Over my time here, I've seen many mentions of good books and blogs that you have read.
This made me think that a healthy discussion might be a good idea, where we can all share our favourite reads and recommend them to others.
So, what books have you loved?
I have just finished reading 'The Psychopath Test' by Jon Ronson. Funny, well written and makes you think

If you like fantasty, give the Wheel of Time series a shot. 14 books but I really liked it.
I Am Legend is still my favourite book to date. The movie did it no justice so if you saw the movie but didn't read the book, forget about what you saw.

I am an avid reader, (in fact my husband thinks I alone, keep Amazon in business!)
I have many favourite authors and am always on the lookout for 'new kids on the block'
I love psychological thrillers, suspense and horror genres
In fact, if it is well written it gets my vote.
I recently read a book by Gregg Hurwitz called You're Next. Brilliant book with a twist.
Oh yes...and to throw the cat 'among the pigeons'....the worse book ever written? 50 Shades of Grey!!
(and I bet E.L. James is laughing all the way to the bank )

What? ....50 Shades of Grey?
One thing your daughter would have learnt from that book..was...how to write a book using appalling English
and grammar. Absolute trash.
(I am not being po-faced about the content at all...though that was pathetic!)..
More the fact that a woman became a best selling author and probably would have failed GCSE English

Anything by Jonathan Coe. Just started reading Expo 58 and it seems to be just as good as his previous books.
Also love Ian McEwan - which reminds me that I haven't bought his latest book yet!

Their was so much hype surrounding the book(s) online and on social media she wanted to read for herself.
She wasn't too impressed.
I read a couple of pages and went bright red !

I read the whole series of 'Jack Reacher' books by Lee Child whilst in Thailand.
Usually my reading tastes are good murder and mystery books such as James Patterson, Karin Slaughter (now that's a good name for a murder authoress1), Dean Koontz, Karlan Coben and the likes.
Loved the Millenium trilogy by Steig Larsson and currently reading Joe Nesbo books.
