Who remembers 08 mobile numbers?

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Unfortunately yeah,

My first number was on one2one and was 0958 and then when I got my first o2 work phone it was 0831 I think... and Vodafone was 0402

I feel bloody old now, just thinking about it.

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account

Yes my first mobile was an 08 number

On vodafone and had to be outside on top of a multi-storey car park to get the analogue signal

Yes @Enlli, I had a Vodaphone with an 08 number and effectively came built into a rucksack and had a great big aerial too. Looked like something from Ghostbusters.

It cost a fortune too if I remember correctly. 👍

My first mobile (analogue) was an 0973 number and from memory it was 50p per minute to make and receive calls. Landline calls to mobile numbers were also very expensive.

You could save 10 numbers in the phonebook, but no names and SMS hadn't been invented at that point.

The battery only lasted about 30 mins, for calls, if you were lucky.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
