Perhaps Micosoft have spread themselves too widely and have realised their speciality might just be software and larger hardware.
What chance Apple doing the same ?

A shame really, Windows though is more suited for business consumers.

I was almost swayed to windows mobile devices but as office 365 has the apps I need on ios devices and syncs to ondreive the need for a windows mobile device seamed pointless in the end. just another choice in the mobile world .
I doubt that apple will follow suit as they have too large a share in the hardware side and a large app range theat people are willing to develop for
