Britain`s Got Talent is back with Britain`s Got Talent - The Champions, which kicked off on Saturday night.

The series will feature acts from past series of Britain`s Got Talent and its counterparts from other countries.

Each week, two acts will go through to the final - one "Golden Buzzer", chosen by the judges or Ant and Dec; and one chosen by superfans from various countries.

In the first programme, none of the former Britain`s Got Talent acts made it through to the final three.

The act which nabbed Amanda Holden`s Golden Buzzer was Kseniya Simonova – a former winner of Ukraine’s Got Talent, who makes stunning pictures and images using only sand.

The act voted through by the superfans was daredevil duo Bello and Annaliese Nock, who previously had appeared on America’s Got Talent.

I found the programme was an entertaining mix. I loved Kseniya`s stunning images and think she was a worthy winner.

In my opinion, if the talent of the two winning acts is anything to go by, this should be a thoroughably watchable and enjoyable series.

Did anyone else watch it? What did you think?

Yes, at one time he had the Chelsea Pensioners on with him. I think people were carried away with the patriotism of it all, rather than his magic which was basic at best...

Well said @jonsie - more of his playing to the crowd [but with what Europe thinks of the UK at moment might not do him any favours unless one of the stupid judges gives him the Golden Buzzer]

As @Cleoriff said, his magic was very basic.

On the subject of magicians, I wonder if that young girl who fooled Simon with the box which she could lift but he couldn`t will be on BGT The Champions ?

Just watched it.

As predicted Richard Jones, the so-called magician, played for the audience with another backstory, but, despite the audience begging David Walliams to give him the Golden Buzzer, he didn`t; and, although the Superfans voted him into the final three, Richard came second and didn`t make it to the final...

David gave the Golden Buzzer to Paddy, the 85-year dancer and her 40+ year old partner, and the Superfans put Darcy, the illusionist [who was amazing] into the final.

Overall, it wasn`t the most talented show shown so far.

It was David Walliams turn for the golden buzzer and what a waste.

He used it for the couple Paddy and Nico who did the salsa. Only because Paddy is 80+.....

So a sympathy vote (imo)!!

I quite liked Mayyas the dance troupe from Lebanon. Very unusual

Richard Jones the magician went for the patriotic vote and didn't impress me much.

Jack Carroll isn't as funny now as he was 3 years ago.

Richard and Adam were good, though didn't 'float my boat'

DJ Arch jnr..age 7...just pressed a few buttons on a computer

The Fire...dance troupe..meh...

Cristina Ramos. Mmmmm... she did an operatic version of Queen's 'The Show Must Go On'. Very powerful but she did a lot of sceeching.

Darcy Oakes. Illusionist. Brilliant just brilliant.

So the superfans vote went to Richard Jones, DJ Arch and Darcy Oakes....

Thankfully common sense prevailed and Darcy won....

So Paddy and Nico along with Darcy Oakes went through to the final....

Good summary of the show @Cleoriff [better than my hurried post ^^^] and agree with your views on the acts. Totally right, in my opinion, that Darcy Oakes is in the final.

Only Darcy saved the utter rubbish tonight. David Walliams, what an absolute tool he is!

Re this golden buzzer malarkey. I think it should be saved until all the acts have performed. Then ask whoever to press the golden buzzer and name the act.

THEN go to the superfans vote.....

I would be a better way of doing it that's for sure. Invariably the 'olden' buzzer always goes to the wrong act. Let's see what Simon does next week.

Week 4 Contestants (BGT FB page)

Billy and Emily England,

Bonnie Anderson,

Colin Thackery,

George Sampson,

Issy Simpson,

Mirror Family,

Preacher Lawson,

Stavros Flatley

Tape Face.

Sorry there is no more info as to who they are and where they come from.

I know....

Stavros Flatley. ( Bit silly!!)

Colin Thackery (The Chelsea Pensioner) who won on the sympathy vote so expect more of the same!

George Sampson (who won the first BGT, I think) However, dancing acts have improved since then and I'm not sure he is winning material.

So...a bit Meh rofl
