These people say they will action something within 24 hours to fobb you off.  They get paid for doing nothing!

I would follow MI5's advice and escalate to complaints. If the number has not been recycled you "may" be able to have it back again.

Unfortunately, despite many promises of re training, nothing seems to have been done to improve live chat for anything other than simple stuff.....

Forget the live chat option and call cs.
202 for contract or 4445 for PAYG.
