From last year they were Sleeping Beeuties 2018 to
This year 2019 again these little kind and sweet bees have caught me unaware and when I opened
the sleeping box there were a few anxious looking faces! So up went the boxes sharpish
and they were put on top to feel the fresh air and off they flew ~ they'll be back always
to the same spot they first remember.
These are the boxes facing South in the hot sun.
This is a box with an emerging bee under the release box top.
Wildlife have no respect for photographers!

hello @TallTrees I went to see the insect hotel at the Friends Meeting House garden aka Quakers
Nothing doing in or out of the tubes
there is a flock of sparrows in the far bushes
the cottage style garden is somewhat unkempt ... & ... the current 'Guardian' rather standoffish !!!
Ate my lunch in the pale sunshine = this was yesterday

Hello @Anonymous
Sometimes insects take a long time to come into hotels.
Many bees go back to around where they were born.
Hopefully some will come there before too long.
We have sun today and the Red Mason Bees feel better.
I love Sparrows. This place is woody so we tend to get woody specialists.
We have two Nuthatches both nesting in boxes here.
Thank you for your posting it is nice to hear.

@Cleoriff I finished the whole series this weekend. Stunning, fascinating, and heartbreaking at times, definitely would recommend watching the full episodes to anyone who liked this short clip you shared!
