100s of acorns under an oak tree in a churchyard. Some plopping into the canal from the towpath trees. I thought they were fish under the surface -  Hampshire break.

Still air ... flat fallen leaves floating on the canal

It is very dark now.

The trees in my new garden have started dropping leaves a lot. Whenever there is a gust of wind a huge puff of loose leaves falls off and scatters across the lawn. 🍂 🍃 🍂 🍃 🍂 🍃

Lots of leaves on the ground.
We have a tree in the front garden that is (just) on our side.
Almost ALL of the leaves end up on our neighbours front garden.
Luckily we are friends with them and we joke about pushing them all across while they are at work...

We live in a cul de sac and our neighbour has a massive front lawn which curves round at the side of our house. He recently had a tree chopped down which sheds leaves all alongside our garage and blows onto our lawn.

We are good friends and I told him it wasn't a problem. He said it was, as they blew all over his front lawn as well! He also knew those stacked against our garage were creating damp.
