Hey everyone,
The Royal Observatory Greenwich has just announced the winners of their annual Astronomy Photographer competition. There were over 4,000 entries and some truly stunning images which made judging the competition extremely difficult!
The overall winner was taken by Hungarian photographer László Francsics for this stunning photo "Into the Shadow" which depicts 35 phases of a total lunar eclipse!
There were many categories for the competition including the moon, from which the overall winner was selected.
I've shared the winner of each category below but there are hundreds of other shortlist images over on the Astronomy Photographer website so check them out and let me know what your favourites are!

to provide me with a fabulous telescopic camera
