Not an iPhone user but read this today and thought it may be of interest to some?

Well spotted @Cleoriff. I'm not an iPhone user either, but your second link may very well have something to do with the first, although Apple would probably deny it.

I uninstalled this browser (along with itunes!!) a long time ago. Awful browser and it's no surprise it's a worldwide problem.

Well there's one 15 going on 20 year old female in my house and anything that could hamper her browsing is more than welcome.

Tbh tho it's more than likely a safety feature preventing shareholders from reading the news about sales. We all know they won't use an "inferior" alternative browser...

I have never used Safari as I always found it to be suss & rubbish, I use opera or chrome
