This made the news and we tell people to make sure they buy only genuine chargers....
The device, included in the £25 collection of various plugs, could break and cause an electric shock
Travellers with Apple products have been warned that wall plug adapters will need to be recalled after concerns were raised over the safety of the devices.
The product, which was also included as a standard power outlet on products sold in European, Australian and New Zealand as well as parts of South America and Korea, could break and cause a risk of electric shock.
How to tell if your Apple plug adapter is affected by the electric shock problem
They were part part of the World Traveller Adapter Kit, which retails for £25.00 on the Apple online store, and were shipped to customers over a 12-year period, from 2003 to 2015.
They were also included in Mac and some iOS devices.

What awful news...My feelings on fake plugs and adaptors is well documented here....and then we have this with the 'real deal'.
What sort of health and safety measures are put in place before these are rolled out to unsuspecting customers?

I have to replace 3 of them and my mom 1.
Does anyone have some experiences of changing them with Apple?
Read on the site I would have to enter the seriesnumber of the product it was delivered with, but I don't have the devices anymore (one is from my 3GS, when I got my used 4S, I gave the 3GS back to my friend - but just the handset, so I don't know what number etc it was).
So can I just go to the Apple Store, give the old ones to them and get new ones? Or are they strict and they wouldn't give it to me then?

These were not sold with products but were bought as an accessory . (world travel adaptors)
If the original chargers were affected apple will change them as they all have batch numbers etc to identfy them as per @jonsie pictures

"Apple has determined that, in very rare cases, the two prong Apple AC wall plug adapters designed for use in Continental Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Argentina and Brazil may break and create a risk of electrical shock if touched. These wall plug adapters shipped from 2003 to 2015 with Mac and certain iOS devices, and were also included in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit."

Sadly I have only one UK-plug. The others are just Continental Europe ones...
But the service in the store's the same, so I thought someone may have experience in changing stuff in a store (would be a 100km drive to the next store -.- so I wouldn't like to go there and be send away again)
