Any stone/monumental masons here?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Random long shot but if you don't ask you'll never know.

Heading up to Yorkshire on some business next week but am going to also visit my grandparents' grave.

Last time I was up there (about 6 years ago) it was leaning and I have a feeling it may have fallen over, not many family up there now and those that remain probably won't have visited it.

Just wondering what I'd be looking at in terms of cost to have it corrected and perhaps concreted in to stop it falling over again.

Any advice appreciated.

Can you not take a bag of post mix and set it yourself?

Last one I had done was around 5 years ago and cost a flat £250.00

I went to the stone makers who were next to the cemetery who made and erected new headstones. They also did cleaning/sandblasting and engraving.

Have a look online within that cemetery postcode and do some ringing round. They will give you an approximate price and some have set rates for different size headstones.
