Sadly Andy Murray has announced in tears that he is retiring. A big thank you to him for the many joyous moments he has given us. He made you proud to be a Brit! He will make his exit after Wimbledon.

That was quite a workout for him and went to five sets. All depends how he feels tomorrow.

If he has had hip surgery before and it failed, then further surgery may work. I doubt he will return to the fitness level required to play tennis in the top tier though.

Actually I think he is very shy.
He was quite funny when he was in the audience of some comedy show and they were taking the mickey out of him. It's just the monotone of his voice. What I call a bit of a droner...
