HMD have promised this will be released for the Nokia 5.

It'll be interesting if the battery optimisation does work though I've found keeping mobile data and Wi-Fi off also helps when not actively using them.

Mainly mobile data uses more battery as it's constantly rescanning and changing the mast when you are moving around town. WI-fi tends to be more local.
