I have just heard on the news that All Blacks rugby legend Jonah Lomu died suddenly today. He was 40 years of age. He had suffered with a rare kidney disease for years (even when playing rugby) Despite this he was in England with his family during the last Rugby World Cup.
R.I.P Jonah. A true giant of a man

I read this yesterday with shock and sadness. A mountain of a man on the pitch, a giant and true sportsman off the pitch. May he RIP.:smileysad:

I was shocked when I realised how long he had suffered with this rare kidney disease and played on regardless. Apparently there was no indication he was poorly yesterday. His death was sudden and unexpected

Four tries in one game against England in a world cup game. I seem to r ember him walking over the England defence that game. Awesome!
