Yes it is @jonsie I posted the warning for anyone who doesn't have their confuser set up for automatic updates. I have mine set to alert me of updates, but not to install them automatically. I think many people do the same. I thought this one looked like it pertains to everyone, and should be installed asap.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

No message into my laptop in Spain....(running windows 7) The other two laptops here are both running 8 so will get them to check. I am absolutely positive that my other half has them all set up to install automatically...but thanks for the heads up anyway @Bambino

I have Windows 7 Home Premium ..... on an Acer Aspire 5750 laptop

I really don't know what to do

I've had no notification(s) from Microsoft

 

I could telephone a place in town tomorrow which is run by a young man I trust with my laptop ... he's done something(s) on my laptop before

Just click on the menu button Jane, all programmes and click on Windows Update. Then when it opens up just select check for updates.

I would think that your computer is probably already set to automatic updates, and you most likely have the update installed, but do as @jonsie suggests Jane, just to be doubly sure, and you'll be fine.
