I've bought a new car! I've currently got a 3 door Fiesta which I love, but we struggle using it as our main car with only 3 doors. I'm picking up my Peugeot 208 on Saturday!

Hope you enjoy your new toy, whichever way you play your music

Thanks! I'm quite happy as I've found the Absolute Radio app so I can listen to Absolute 80s or Classic Rock through Bluetooth - I have to ration myself though as it uses a lot of data!

If you are referring to my 'signature' young man, it's purely an homage to Sam Bailey - she's a local girl 😛

I presume you're a Queen fan? One of my biggest regrets is not seeing them live.

You presume correctly my dear, I was fortunate enough to see them at Knebworth Park in 1986 - last concert Freddie ever did 😞
In my humble opinion they were unrivalled, particularly live - FM was the ultimate frontman.

I love watching Freddie on TV so to have seen him live must have been amazing. I can still remember the day he died, I was 16 and on a (short lived!) YTS scheme at the local newspaper. Although he was obviously ill it was still such a shock.
I might have to listen to a bit of Queen tomorrow!

I remember it like it was yesterday - cried all day at work! (I was a little older than you dear )
At least with all the technology these days we can watch and listen whenever we choose :))

I last saw them (well Brian and Roger) at the Nottingham Arena a few years back. I'm sure it would have been much better with Mr. Mercury. I still have most of the early albums and singles on vinyl, My faves have to be Sheer Heart Attack and Night at the Opera.
