On-line? Stood out in our garden, clear view south and west, light cloud... Not a bean.
I did watch the SPACEX feed at the time. Still too light this evening to see it as it passed overhead again at ça 22:30ish.

Yesterday SpaceX launched another rocket, but at night.. The camera on the drone ship actually stayed online (I'm sure SX cut it in case of a problem on big events) and you can see the landing at around 8m30 (video time)

watch HERE

It gives me goosebumps every time!

Great share, @Anonymous.

Amazing to see, and even better when it all works exactly to plan! This cluster is only visible in the UK for the next 2 or 3 days, as the satellites separate, in the wee small hours, I read somewhere. They may not be quite as bright, or visible from Earth to the unaided eye, as previous clusters, becausr SpaceX have coated and provided visors to make the satellites less reflective this time around.

Thanks for the link, @Anonymous.

Anyone interested in sky gazing for these, times here: https://findstarlink.com/

Some idea of when you'll be out tonight:

Tonight, the times are:

  • 1.16am, June 5, Starlink-7,8, for two minutes looking from Northwest to East. Elevation (from horizon): start: 38°, max: 50°, end: 10°
  • 2.47am, June 5, Starlink-6, for six minutes looking from West to East. Elevation (from horizon): start: 10°, max: 65°, end: 10°
  • 2.49am, June 5, Starlink-7,8, for four minutes looking from West to Southeast. Elevation (from horizon): start: 11°, max: 61°, end: 11°
  • 3.05am, June 5, Starlink-5, for four minutes, looking from Southwest to East. Elevation (from horizon): start: 20°, max: 45°, end: 10°
