Hi everyone,
Formed in Brighton in 2004, The Kooks are an indie rock band that has, over the years, experimented with different genres. Their music has mainly been influenced by the post-punk revival, and the British invasion movements. Following the release of their debut album Inside In/Inside Out in 2006, they won the award for Best UK & Ireland Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2006 and their single She Moves in Her Own Way was nominated at The Brit Awards.
Since then, they have released four more studio albums; here are a few of the songs they made:
The Kooks will be performing at the O2 Academy Oxford this coming June, and you will be able to get tickets for this gig via Priority tomorrow Wednesday 29 may at 9:00am.
