Hi everyone!

Any Take That fans in the community? slight_smile

TakeThat

They are an English pop band who formed in Manchester in 1990. They've had numerous number one singles and albums in the UK and internationally over the years. They split in 1996 for a while and had a break until uniting again in 2006 with even more music.

The band celebrates their 30th anniversary next year and will be touring on several dates in the UK during May. Priority tickets go on sale this week on 26 September for gigs taking place in London at The O2 on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th of May 2019.

Check out a couple of their music videos below. slight_smile

Are you interested in attending any of the Take That gigs? Have you seen them live in the past? Like their music? I'd love to hear about it in the comments. slight_smile

Not your preferred genre of music then @Poppysmum? slight_smile I remember I listened to Take That as a kid quite a lot. We used to sing their songs at school in music class too. grin

My dearly departed was a big fan and another time, another place, no doubts she would be first in the queue. Not a fan myself....

I had all their albums up till Progress.. which was amazing but they seem to have lost their way since.

Gaz B was at Sherwood Pines a few months back and I got to hear him belt out a few classics and that’s enough for me.. but bung me a free ticket and I’ll go watch em!

I think they are excellent and put on a show like no other.

They were at the Ricoh Arena when they did their Circus tour. I couldn't get tickets. I have the dvd and it's quite stunning

The 'Elephant' walked through the crowd with Take That on top of it @Marjo

There were many other spectacular effects as well.

To be honest whether you like them or not, their shows are worth seeing just for the absolute wow factor wink

Ohh it's an elephant!! I didn't realise until you said it and now when I look at your screenshot again I can clearly see it. grin

I don't know what the gigs next year will be like but would love to hear from anyone who goes there if it had this 'wow' factor again. slight_smile
