Hello everyone,
Let's check some of the the artists featured on the O2 Priority website this week 🥁
Since I highlighted his brother previously, Noel Gallagher starts this week's. I grew up as huge Oasis fan and I've been to Noel's solo gigs twice already (I was fortunate to see Oasis live twice as well). He always delivers live, always had fantastic experiences when seeing this man strumming his guitars and singing.
Rumour has it that a new record is coming soon and a single was released a week ago:
If you're not familiarised with his solo career as you are with the Oasis catalogue, the Apple Music Essentials playlist is a good place to start:
Priority Tickets for his concert in London are going to be available tomorrow 10:00am :
Something a little bit different here on our weekly highlights as we've got a double bill concert!
Primal Scream and Happy Mondays are performing on the same night and I thought they deserve a highlight each, even though you get two fantastic gigs for one if you buy the ticket by clicking on the button down below.
I'm a fan of Primal Scream (so much so that I've included one of their tracks on the O2 Community Playlist) and I've seen them live twice. First time they opened for The Stooges at a festival. Second time they performed Screamadelica in its entirety. Safe to say those two nights are some of my fondest music concerts-related memories.
As I like so many records by them, I've chosen the following video simply because it was the one that MTV aired the most when I was a kid. Their rendition of the Lee Hazlewood & Nancy Sinatra song, featuring Kate Moss is stunning:
Similar reason to having decided to link their Essentials playlist below. Can't choose one album, like a lot of them so much.
As for the other aforementioned legendary band, I still have to see them live. Gonna go with their massive hit (arguably their biggest?) for the highlight below:
And again, not easy to pick just one album, so Apple Music Essentials playlist it is:
Priority tickets for this amazing opportunity to see these two great band performing on the same night are going to be available tomorrow 11:00am
In order to be able to listen to the full songs (not just snippets or previews of them) on the playlists above, don't forget that you can get up to six months' free Apple Music with O2 ,which will also give access to many others carefully curated playlists, radio shows, albums, EPs, music videos, exclusive interviews and much more.
As there are some many options of gigs on the Priority website, and also artists from so many different genres, it's actually very hard to pick just three of them to highlight here on the community. Hope that you guys have discovered or rediscovered an artist or band; or have found out about the gig of an artist you already love in this post! Please leave your comment if you enjoyed any of the songs shared above. 😎
